my good friend Dave: [link] & I went storm hunting thinking we could catch some lightning shots. it ended up not being dark enough to capture. but as the storm broke, we were really fortunate enough to catch this rainbow that appears as the sun came back out. it was really a once in a lifetime opportunity to get this shot (and more to come) being that we were already in a beautiful spot. i have seen rainbows a few times of course, but i was never in a nice spot, or i never had my camera handy. this time we got it!!!
we were running around like two idiots once we saw it...we had to get some nice photos and were freaking out since we had no idea how long it would last.

i hope you enjoy them. i have a couple more to come and so does Dave.

This is really a rare effect, a full and clear rainbow. And you could catch it very well. Nice work!

thanks!!! i was lucky to own a sigma 10-20mm lens. otherwise it would have never fit in the shot.
